I spoke to Scott in the parts department, he was a big help and even printed off a diagram of the part I was replacing.. everyone I spoke to at the dealership was pleasant and the dealership was very clean.
My wife was in Kentucky for business and had to use Herb Jones service because our Yukon roof was leaking. It was the shark antenna seal on the roof and she even told them that this was most likely the cause of the leak. They disregarded her assessment and decided that the windshield was leaking. They had to contract it to a window company because they couldn't do the work. They had it for 2 days and never let her know what was going on. She had to keep calling them for updates and she just got the standard, "I'm not sure we will let you know". They never let her know anything until she told them she was coming to get the Yukon and would get it fixed later. When she got the Yukon back it was not completely put back together and there was blood and grease inside the car. When they took out the floor mat they broke one of the clips that hold it in. We took the Yukon to a dealer in NJ and they fixed the shark antenna leak and commented on how bad the vehicle was put back together. Herb Jones has the most horrible service!!
I arrived on a Saturday, July 1, after 2, to discover that the service center was already closed. I was having car trouble (battery and coil pack corrosion that was fixed via warranty) and needed to leave it at the dealership to be fixed. They did not offer me a loner car and they told me they would look at it Monday. They did not call me till that following Friday to tell me that it was fixed. I had to get a rental car to go home because my grandmother was being taken off life support in the near future. They should have looked at my car Monday and got it fixed for me as soon as possible since I was stranded out of town. My car was just a year old with 31K miles on it.
In 2015, Herb Jones sold me a certified 2014 Chevy Cruze LEMON!!! For about 6 months everything was good, just normal service! After that, approx. every 2 months, I have had to return car to dealer, because it won't start! Have had to call roadside assistance numerous times, have had towed to dealer numerous times, and last month, dealer drove car back to my residence, tossed me the keys and said they could not find a problem with car after keeping it for 2 weeks! Told me, if happens again just call road side assistance. Warranty also almost out and I am stuck with this car that I can't depend on and because I can't afford another car. Have contacted GM, Dealer, and Better Business to no avail! WORST experience I have ever had with a car or dealer!
I believe the issue of the paint on my 2013 was due to poor workmanship. I still used Herb Jones to correct it but it still sticks in my mind. I have called GM and sent pictures. The only way it could have happened is being in a rock storm. The truck looks great now but what happens when I hit the next rock storm? I believe GM should have paid for the paint job. They told me if I had bought the truck at Herb Jones in Elizabethtown, KY they may have paid for repairs. I bought it from Big M in Radcliff, KY. I have bought my last 3 brand new GM vehicles there but they closed their body shop. If GM was interested in customer loyalty they really missed for me.
