Meineke, if you want to make this right, refund the $404.40 I paid you to take care of my vehicle. Invoice Number 3283.Estimate ID: 004389. Regardless, I wont be back and I wont be recommending your shop to anyone in the future.

If you want half-@$$ work from ASE mechanics who don't care about your car at a price higher than others, then this is your place. Read below for my experience!

I went to the meineke in etown or radcliff and it was a HUGE mistake! they charged me $500 the first time they "fixed" my car and another $1300 a few days later when it broke again, even the loaner car (which im pretty sure was someone else's car waiting to be fixed) had the check engine light on. truly a miserable experience

What else could have gone wrong with this visit? Oh lets see, they performed a "complimentary" rotate and balance and didn't retighten the lugs more than finger tight and my front passenger tire damn near came off while I was doing 65mph on I65. I could have been killed due to their negligence. I have a competitor's statement on a receipt from when I took the same vehicle to Michal Tires a few days after Meineke and the tech stated NONE of the tires had been torqued properly and the front left was FALLING OFF.

If I could give the Elizabethtown Meineke a negative 5 rating, I would without hesitation. I took my Jeep Cherokee into this location earlier this year with a few requests. This is not my daily driver vehicle, so i have not put very many miles on it since my visit and discovered all kinds of wonderful things when I did my most recent inspection.

First, I asked them if they could remove some old gasket material from the engine's head so the thermostat housing could make a better seal. Instead of doing what I asked, they put the thermostat housing back on and globbed RTV sealant on it to get it to seal. The gasket material was not removed. How hard is it to break out a Roloc disc or a plastic scrapper? Fail.

This place is not just careless, they are frauds and should be shut down. Even if they offered me an opportunity to fix these problems, Id say No, because I wouldn't trust them around my vehicle.

It has been several months since I had these "services" performed and I hadn't even planned to complain about the loose tires, or the RTV on the gasket I asked them to remove, but after inspecting the Differentials this morning I had to speak up.

After getting a quote from another garage in town, I took my car in for a second opinion. They not only fixed my car the same day, it was less than half the other quote. Quality service!

Second, I asked them to perform a fluid change on my engine oil and 2 differentials. I paid full price for the fluid changes plus paid for Royal Purple Gear Oil for the differentials and full synthetic for my engine oil. They put the cheapest possible engine oil filter on, it was tiny.. so small I wouldn't have put it on my lawnmower. It was undersized and cheap. This morning (and what prompted this review) I took off my rear diff cover to inspect a sound I kept hearing from the rear of the vehicle and low and behold, Meineke never changed the gear oil. It was BLACK and about a pint or two lower than it should have been. After seeing that mess in the rear, I removed the front and found the same thing. They didn't change the gear oil in either of the Diffs. FRAUD. My rear diff spider gears are now worn and require replacement, a problem that was likely avoidable if Meineke had done the job I paid them for.

Took my car in to have 3 spark plugs put in because I lacked the tools to get to the back 3 after replacing the front 3 myself. Was given a loaner for a few hours while they worked on the car (the loaner is probably worth $500 tops so curb your expectations if you need it). When I got the car back, I drove home. The next day I changed the O2 sensor and discovered a screw missing from the engine cover; a cosmetic issue but still concerning since I specifically asked to please have everything put back together correctly. When I brought the car back to have the missing screw replaced, the manager informed me that the guy that worked on the car was over an hour late and not answering his phone. That was 2 weeks ago. Today, 19 July 2017, I replaced the throttle body. In doing so, I discovered that the clamps for the 2 cooling system lines running near the throttle body were not in place...at all.

Can't speak highly enough for their ASSISTANCE in helping me find a repair shop to fix the brakes on my big motorhome. It was too big for their shop to handle.
