When I called the number on file, I was told I could bring in my checks as proof of address change. The rudest woman at the counter told me I called the wrong number. I told her they must've just given me wrong information when I called. I said it was no big deal, I'd run to the bank real quick to get a $3 statement. She said to make sure I call the correct number when I need information. I assured her I wasn't interested in arguing with her over the matter and that I had called the right number and wasn't upset. She proceeded to tell me again that I called the wrong number. She wouldn't let it go. Making me look stupid. So I pulled up my phone logs and showed her I called the right number. That stopped her making me feel stupid an being condescending.
