As a store it's nice. Clean, friendly employees and easy to navigate. I have some issue with the gluten free items being mixed with regular items (as a person with celiac disease and cross contact with gluten is a huge risk for me, I find this incredibly frustrating) I plan to speak to a manager about it soon.
Standard wally world shopping experience. It was nice that the carts were in actually in the cart returns and not all over the parking lot. The store was relatively clean and the aisles didn't have half empty cups placed all over the shelves so that is always nice.
I will go completely out of my way to avoid going in this Walmart. I don't care what day it is or what time it is, you're gonna wait. And they simply don't care. You can go on the 1st of the month at 8pm and there's 1 cashier open. And maybe just maybe 2 of the self checkouts will be open. As much business as this store has I know they can afford more people working. Why they waste all that money on cash registers is beyond me because I've never seen even half of them open. And the employee appearance has become sad. And their attitude is worse.
Wal-Mart is a dominating store....not much can be said here. It would be nice if employees actually new what was in their department rather than just filling the shelves mindlessly. Encourage the employees to pay attention to the department. I thought i was going to pass out when an employee took the time to ask me if i needed help the other day.30 years of shopping and never had anyone actually ASK if they could help. That's the way a store should be operated.
No happy faces on the employees. They all looked stressed. It was hard to find an employee to assist me. Then when I did, she was rude. She acted like I'd taken her away from a coranation or something. I remember why I don't go there often. The shelves weren't real neat, but to be fair it was a busy day. The lines were long for a Thursday afternoon. But if more than three lanes had of been open, I'd of been out of there faster. I won't be going back until they have a sale I can't beat somewhere else.
Overall though this particular store is a fine place to shop in a pinch.
Although I do not like the Walton's corporate structure I have no choice, sometimes, but to patron this store.
