Sorry but this is NOT URGENT Care. It takes almost 3 hours to finally be seen by a doctor or a nurse practitioner. When you're seen inside, it only takes 5 minutes for the doctor to check you and give your paperwork. Then your out. Really??? Why its always like this when we visit. Sorry, but they should change their name. Or maybe do something about it.
Also their favorite thing to do as a medical treatment is always give a steroids shot no matter whats wrong with you. Hmmm???
The front desk staff are very nice and welcoming; however, the back? Not so much. Both times I have been here my vitals were taken very rushed and done by someone who treated me poorly like they didn't want to be there. The first time I had been to Urgent Care, it had been for possible flu. They did not test me for the flu, told my mother that I just wanted out of school, and sent me home. The next day, I had went to my pediatrician, got my nose swabbed, and what did I have? The flu. The second time I came in, it was for possible strep. I had a fever, stomach aches, and blisters all over my throat and tongue. She swabbed my throat and left saying, "I'm doubtful it can come back positive, but I guess I will do it anyway." It had came back negative, and while she said false negatives are possible, the blisters were probably because I didn't brush my teeth and sent me off with a z pack prescription. On the way out she had told me "This won't get you out of school except for today." Not to mention that the whole facility is disgusting? It does not look clean at all, I'd be surprised if it was sterile. The room I was put in last time smelled like someone had just smoked a cigarette in it. I mean, think twice if you are a child and you need a place like Urgent Care because they will probably assume you just want out of school and won't care for any of your problems.
Everyone was great other than the nurse practitioner. I have had the symptoms of an ulcer for a while so I went in and she checked me and all that. She said it was drainage. Really? Drainage gives you diarrhea and heartburn for 3 weeks? I asked if I could have an H. pylori test (the bacteria that causes ulcers). She said they don't do that test and gave me a drink to numb my stomach. 5 minutes later a nurse tells me they DO do the test but that since she had me drink the numbing medicine I can't do it. They take a stool sample instead. The nurse practitioner kept saying they'd call back about my breath test. I told her I didn't have it because of the drink. Where is the communication! I was told I could leave and then as I was leaving I was told I had to sign my discharge. Okay. On the discharge it says take ibuprofen or acetaminophen. Interesting. I can't take either of those because of drug interactions. I will never return here. They are not interested in your well being AT ALL.

People at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. After that.. not so much at all. I have never been treated so poorly at a place like this. Some of the most rude people I have ever delt with. Whoever hired this current staff need their brain checked. They should not be allowed to work with the public.
