In and out quickly. Always good work and friendly service
Went to get my nails filled in today and the man cut my finger so bad with the grinder I had to leave and go to the ER to get it glued. Blood was everywhere. I stood at the sink for 5 minutes running cold water over my finger so I could see if I needed stitches. After standing there forever my finger still was bleeding horribly. Finally he came over and asked if I was ok. Then another woman came over and tried to put aneseptic and a bandaid over it. I told her I would bleed right out of the bandaid and that I just needed to apply pressure and get to the ER. They tried to talk low so no one would know what was going on. At this point I was about to pass out from all the blood so I insisted I needed to go to the ER. They didn't offer me anything for doing this! I'll never go back there again anyway, but I thought it was rude that they didn't seem to care. I had to get a tetnus shot and my finger glued up. It ripped my finger literally to shreds.
This is my first time at L'Amour, and I'll try to be objective. Fast service and two different techs worked on my nails (gel manicure). They didn't clean under my nails before applying the polish, and unfortunately I can already see it lifting at my cuticle so this one will probably only last me a week to two weeks instead of my typical 3-4 weeks. I liked that the tech didn't talk to me but to say thank you at the end - sometimes I just want my nails done and no conversation lol. I will stick to T&N Nail Bar in Versailles for the quality and longevity of the manicure.
I've been going here since 2015 and a technician by the name of Jay would do my pedicures. He was GREAT! Different people would do my nails and that was not so great. They would chip after a few days or the acrylic would be too thick. Other places have done my nails and I would always get compliments. Not when I got my nails done at L'Amour...Also, as of lately, customer service has been HORRIBLE! I haven't had Jay unfortunately & everyone else that has been assigned to do my feet have been HORRIBLE! Today was the last straw! We pay too much money for such crappy service, NOT ANYMORE! This business will never get another dime from me and I will make sure to let everyone I know about my experience and recommend not to go here!!!! If I could, I wouldn't even give them a 1 star rating, but that one is for Jay!
Yes everyone is right the staff is rude. The guy I had was friendly enough. He did a great job in the beginning but towards the end he just did the bare minimum to get my nails done. The price was okay. I walked away feeling a bit down about my nails. I’m guessing if I went there more often it would be better.
