I got home and really assessed my brows- not only are they thin and arched so that I look unnaturally surprised, the cherry on top is that they aren't even/they don't match! I then lost it and cried. I look like an absolute fool.
I was then told she didn't have the authority to refund my money and needed to talk to the owners. A promise of a return call by close of business was made. That didn't happen.
If I could give zero stars I would. This place is absolutely terrible. They think they're gods gift and you should be grateful they even deign to speak with you. Horrible horrible horrible!
Don't let this be you. Let my horrid mistake be a warning-- go to Louisville for your eyebrow needs.
Would give them a zero if I could I spent 300 dollars on a gift certificate for my wife at Xmas was not told there was a expreation date on them.most men don't look at that and I would understand if it changed owners or something, I'm sure I'm not the only one this happened to.i will take my 300 too 400 a year somewhere else.
To add insult to injury, I called the salon to speak with the manager in order to ask for my money back. After I explained what happened, she asked if I wanted to come in and let someone else fix them. No. I will not allow anyone there to touch my brows again. Not to mention a "fix" will only involve waxing/plucking some more.. Then she said that they could show me how to pencil them in. Are you serious! No. **Of special note- the manager LAUGHED about this to me while we were on the phone!**
I had the glorious joy of working with Briana (sp?). They took me in last minute, very fortunately, as they weren't too busy. It was a great experience. She gave me options and we found a hair rescue plan that met my needs and my budget. This was my first time having my hair dyed in a salon (in at least several years) and it was really nice. I didn't feel shamed for my self-dye job, albeit the most recent one was a disaster. She fixed my hair and made it lovely. The staff was pleasant and the place was really clean but felt comfortable. I'll definitely be returning!
ALWAYS....the very best service I have encountered. When you are there, you are the most important client/guest who ever entered their door. They will make you feel as if you are family. Each one's skill is truly a gift.
If I could give no stars, I would! While I admit that my stylist Hannah did a great job on my haircut-- she DESTROYED my eyebrows!!! I mistakenly assumed that an Aveda salon would be a safe place to get my brows waxed. I just wanted a touch up to some stray hairs. I spent months growing back thin brows and finally achieved the fuller look I wanted. Hannah did ask if she could change the shape a bit-- but I expressed that I wanted my brows kept FULL. I naively thought she was perhaps shaping up an edge. When she finished, I was shown my brows while still laying down. Initially, it didn't hit me that there was a huge change. I didn't get a tint as I normally do- I thought they were just lighter colored than normal.. Well, then I got out into the daylight and saw the true damage. I was horrified..! Hannah had waxed my brows into the shape of Drew Barrymore's brows in the 90s.
